Any brides in here heard of getting rain insurance in case you have an outside wedding? We have an October outside wedding planned in Sterling-Rock Falls. My uncle said to look into it. Its real expensive I found out but maybe someone knows of a less expensive local company that does this. Rain would wreck everything. Yeah, and All this talk and fighting about djs has made us not have one at the reception which is also outside. The dj would probably be a drunk and fight at the reception like all of these ones sound like they do. We are getting a band.

Instead of getting rain insurance, I would have a back up plan. Like maybe a large tent on hand or a nearby building.

As for the DJ's, I've never been to a wedding reception where the DJ was drunk (and I've been to over 30 weddings). I have however been to a reception that had a band (instead of a DJ) and it was very awkward because they didn't announce anything and they took a lot of breaks. If you spend the money on a good DJ, you won't regret it!
