| #1 | Alright, I'm having a Halloween wedding in 09 and we're just looking around for a venue to have the wedding at. We'd really like for it to have an almost creepy, but yet really classy feel to it. Any suggestions would be great! |

| #2 | Hauberg Civic Center!
I think it's owned by the city of Rock Island.
I got married there and it is pretty much exactly what you're explaining. It's an old mansion hidden away in the woods (kind of right off 18th Ave and 23rd St.). The mansion is beautiful and very well kept, but it almost has a haunted house type of feel to it. There is a pipe organ installed in the house, so you could have some great Dracula-type of vibe going on. It would be gorgeous lit with candles at night, and the winding garden paths in fall would be amazing. We took our wedding pictures outide in the woods and garden (but we were married in August) The pictures were amazing! |

| #3 | Skellington Manor Banquet and Event Center in downtown Rock Island would be perfect! We just had our Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting ceremony for the Banquet Facility on May 2nd. The transformation is beautiful! We are in the process of moving our Haunt equipment from Donahue (Terror in the Woods) over to the upper floors of Skellington Manor (former Masonic Temple). Terror at Skellington Manor will be open in October 2009. Please give me a call and we can discuss your Goth Wedding ideas!! Call 563-343-5251 or 563-344-9187. Looking forward to hearing from you! |

| #4 | A friend of mine had her reception at the Col Ballroom in Davenport and it was really nice with romantic lighting and a lot of decorating potential. I also checked out the manor mentioned as a reply also and it looks like it would be a great place to have a Halloween wedding. |
